Biography
John was born 3 Aug 1742 in Georgetown, York, Massachusetts Bay Colony (now Georgetown, Sagadahoc, Maine). He is the son of Joseph Berry and Lidia ( ) Berry.[1]
John married as his 2nd wife, Rhoda Mitchell on 4 February 1771 in Georgetown, Lincoln, Massachusetts Bay Colony.[2]
Capt. John Mitchell served in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War 1 Jul 1776-22 Dec 1778. [3].
John passed away 25 Dec 1803. in Bath, Lincoln, Massachusetts (now Bath, Sagadahoc, Maine).[4][5] Captain John Berry was mentioned on a memorial in First Parish Cemetery, West Bath, Sagadahoc County, Maine, United States with a death date of 25 December 1805.[6]
