Una E. Christian, 73, died peacefully at her home, 98 Adams Ave, Thursday morning, November 16, 1989 surrounded by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold B. (Ty) Christian. Survived by a son, Mark Christian, Johnson City; . two daughters and sons-in-law, Lynda and George Felton, Port Crane, Nancy and Richard Mindemann, Binghamton; a sister, Alma Holdridge, Binghamton; seven grandchildren, George, Deric, Melissa, Todd, Jenica Felton, Matthew, Michael, Nicole Mindemann; four great-grandchildren; two dear friends, Catherine Mitchell and Mary Kushner; a niece, Jane Kellam; a nephew, Gordon Morris; and several cousins. Funeral and committal services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main St., Johnson City. The Rev. Robert L Benson, pastor of the Boulevard United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Hancock, NY. The family will receive friends at the memorial home 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. 'Her grace and courage when faced with adversity were a shining example to all who knew her.
