Emma, child of John Stewart & Jane Thompson, was born in about 1874 in Oakleigh, Victoria.^[1]

The engagement is announced of Miss Emma Stewart, daughter of Mr. John Stewart, of "Melrose," Moore Park, Sydney, and Windsor, Melbourne, to Mr. C. A. Lienard von Lynar, of Batticaloa, Ceylon. The wedding will take place in Colombo on the 11th October^[2]

She was widowed in 1910.
