Biography

Alice was born about 1926 in Hartford, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Harold Jerome Bill and Therese Manner.

Her mother passed away in 1939.

In 1940, aged 14, she was living with her Bill grandparents, Harry and Margaret, in Hartford.^[1]

Her photograph appears in Hartford High School's 1942 Yearbook. Next to it is the comment "Alice has a quiet and reserved manner, which she quickly loses amongst friends. Her high marks are indeed a credit to Hartford High!"

In 1946 she married Burton Frederick Kominick, son of David Kominick and Radie Furman. By 1950 they were living in South Portland, Maine. He was working as a clothing salesman and they had a 2 year old daughter, Mildred. Two more children would follow, a son Burton and another daughter Diane.

Her father passed away in 1972.

She passed away in January 2018 at Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, followed by her husband a little more than two months later.
