There is no evidence that Samuel married Sophia Burman, but evidence suggests that he was most likely the father of all of her children.

Biography

Samuel was born in 1848.^[1]

Between 1851 and 1871 he lived with his parents in Ipswich, Suffolk, England.^[2][3][4]

In 1881 he lived with Sophia Burman in Marylebone, Middlesex, England. He is recorded as a widower, but there is no evidence that he had previously married. Sophia Burman is recorded as his 'daughter' and her 4 children as his 'grandchildren'. His occupation was a cordwainer.^[5] Bearing in mind his age, it is highly unlikely that Sophia could be his daughter and the children listed were his grandchildren.

He passed away in 1890.^[6]
