• Carl Dean Procter, the son of L. E. and Ophelia (Raborn) Procter, was born at Milano, Texas on August 23, 1935 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on February 17, 2011, at the age of 75.
• Carl served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years during the Korean War.
• Carl was united in marriage to Alice Hill on August 17, 1956 at Clay Center. They moved to Aurora in 1963 and on September 30, 1963 Carl went to work for NPPD as a meter reader. He retired from NPPD after 30 years employment on November 30, 1993.
• He was preceded in death by his father L.E. Proctor; a son, Michael Procter; his step-father, Charles Neal; his Grandmother Raborn; father –in-law and mother-in-law, Loren & Pauline Hill and several uncles and aunts.
