Biography

Joseph was born on 20 September 1884 in Neumarkt, Austria.[1]

Joseph arrived in New York, New York, USA on 11 May 1909 on the SS Kroonland.[2][3]

He married (1) Aloise or Louisa Poklic about 1911.[4]

They had 3 children.

In 1918 Joseph (age about 33) was living in Wauwatosa, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA.[1]

He married (2) Josephine Koeppel as early as 1919, but before the 1930 census.

In the 1930 census Joseph (age 45) was living in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. Marital Status: Married; Relation to Head: Head.[3]

In 1935 according to 1940 census Joseph (age about 50) was living in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.[5]

Naturalization Petition: 1938 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA.[2] In this document he stated that he was born in Neumarkt, Austria, and he immigrated under the name Josef Pentek.

In the 1940 census Joseph (age 55) was living in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. Marital Status: Married; Relation to Head: Head.[5]

In 1942 Joseph (age about 57) was living in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. Relation to Head: Head.[6]

His wife Josephine died in 1944.

Afterwards he married (3) Elsie Szczepecki.

In 1955 according to a city directory Joseph (age about 70) was living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA.[7]

Joseph died at the age of 79 on 14 September 1964 in Milwaukee Co, Wisconsin, USA.[8]
