Anna was born on 30 January 1909 in Tartumaa, Sootaga, vkj.sünd. 18.01.1909. She was the daughter of Jüri Vahkal and Anna (Marjamägi) Vahkal.^[1]

In 1939 Anna (age about 29) was living in Laeva, Laeva, Eesti. Note: Relation to Head: Abikaasa.^[1]
