Biography

William Harding was born in New Brunswick, Canada in 1821. He came with his parents, Able Guilford Harding Sr. and Anna Nase, to the United States in 1822. William married Sarah B. Tarbox on 4 Dec 1852. They farmed in Wisconsin and raised family of eleven children. During the Civil War, William served as a private in Company L of the 1st Wisconsin Artillery. Sarah died in 1899 and William followed her in Death on 4 Apr 1903. They are buried together in Windfall Cemetery in Granton, Wisconsin.
