Biography

Ellis (incorrectly listed as Lucinda in 1921 census) Burke was the daughter of John Burke, an officer in the Spanish service, and his 2nd wife Lucinda Plunkett, eldest daughter of Oliver Plunkett or Bettyfield, co. Roscommon. She married John Antisell of Birr, King's Co, second son of Thomas Antisell and died 9 Apr 1836 having had one daughter, Lucinda who married Thomas Lalor Cooke on 18 Apr 1816.^[1]

In the 1821 census Lucinda Antisell (age 48) was living with her daughter's family. She is listed as the mother-in-law of Thomas L Cooke in Birr, County Offaly, Ireland.^[2]

Ellis died 9 Apr 1836.

The estate of Ellis Antisell of Parsonstown, King's Co., widow was in the probate process in 1838.^[3]
