Research Notes
It looks as if Walter married Mabel V B Downs in 1914[5]. This appears to be the official record, but an online search believes his wife to be Mabel Violet Blanche Montgomery and his second wife to be Mary Jocelyn Thorold - the FreeBMD record confirms the second wife[6]
