Russell Dias-Jayasinha migrated from United Kingdom to Ceylon.
Russell Howard Dias-Jayasinha was born on 1st January 1934 in Mount Lavina, Ceylon to Eric Henry and Florence Dias-Jayasinha (Nee Fernando). He was 1 of 11 children.
He moved to London in about 1950s and was a teacher.
He married first to a Scottish women called Margaret Holland and had two children,
- Shanti Paul Dias-Jayasinha.
- Anill Phillip Dias-Jayasinha.
After ending his first marriage, he met my Mother at the same school, where they were both teachers and had 3 more children called Thomas, Aaron (Myself) and Anoushka. He had 5 children and 2 grandchildren all together.
He died in 2015 in East Surrey Hospital, Redhill, Surrey, England
