DEATH OF THE REV. ADAM MCINTYRE.βit is with regret we learn that the Rev. Adam McIntyre, Presbyterian Minister died at Bruce- dale, near Roma, on the 22nd May. At a meeting of the Synod of Queensland a few months since, Mr. McIntyre was appointed to visit the stations in the western interior of this colony, and at Roma he was warmly received. Hopes were entertained that he would have been induced to take up his permanent residence there, and thus secured to that town and the Maranoa district generally the benefits of religious instruction. Had he been spared, there is no doubt that these hopes would have been realised, but it has pleased Providence to ordain otherwise ; and as before stated, the rev. gentleman breathed his last on the 22nd ultimo. We understand that Mr. McIntyre passed his probation at Cressbrook, on the Brisbane, and that he was not married.
