John Jay Comstock was born 22 Jun1822,^[1] died 22 Oct 1902,^[2] son of Peter Comstock III (1779-1862) and Sally (Warren) Comstock (1784-1830); married in 1843 to Emeline L Moore born 24 May 1822, died 24 May 1880, daughter of Ezra Moore (1782–1865) and Betsey (Steward) Moore (1788–1858); buried at East Lyme Cemetery, East Lyme, New London County, Connecticut, USA.^[3]
