Kenneth Mason Roberts was born in Appalachia, in Tennessee.

Kenneth Mason Roberts was born on February 1, 1930 in White, Tennessee, United States, son of William Joesph Roberts (1881–1971) and Mary Edna Wright (1893–1951).

Kenneth married Clara Ruth McBride (born January 29, 1928 in White; daughter of Collie Bryan McBride (1898–1982) and Hattie Eva Fisher (1901–1983)).

In the 1930 census Kenneth (age 0) was the son of Willie Roberts in District 05, White, Tennessee, United States.^[1] Willie Roberts 49, wife Mary Roberts 37, son Clayborn Roberts 17, daughter Myrtle Roberts 14, son Clyde Roberts 13, son Claudie Roberts 11, daughter Novala Roberts 9, son Loyde Roberts 6, son Joe F Roberts 2, son Kenneth M Roberts 0, daughter-in-law Lovie Roberts 19.

In the 1940 census Kenneth (age 10) was the son of William J Roberts in Civil District 5, White, Tennessee, United States.^[2] William J Roberts 59, wife Mary Edna W Roberts 47, son Joe F Roberts 12, son Kenneth M Roberts 10, son Jessie Roberts 8, daughter Bessie Roberts 8, son Johnie Roberts 5.

Kenneth died on April 29, 2005 in Tennessee, aged 75. He was buried in Mount Pisgah Cemetery, White County, Tennessee.^[3][4]
