Biography
Otis was born in 1888. He was the son of Newton Lane and Martha Hall.
Oscar R. Lane was living with his parents in Denison, Grayson, Texas in 1900. Census shows he was born in November 1888 in Kentucky. [1]
Oscar Lane age 21, was living with his parents in the 1910 census (Fort Worth, Tarrant, Texas). [2]
His WWI Draft registration shows: Otis R. Lane, b. Nov. 11, 1888 in Pineville, Kentucky; single; mechanic for Mace Planing Mill.
He was a WWI and WWII Veteran.
He married Imogene Howard on June 4, 1921. [3]
He passed away on Oct. 31, 1946 in Los Angeles. Death certificate shows names of his parents. [4] He is buried in Los Angeles National cemetery. [5]
