Carl Magnus Westmark was born on July 26, 1804 in Västervik, Kalmar, Sverige, son of Börje Westmark (1781– ) and Stina Bodin (1774– ).
Seaman. Moved to Stockholm in 1822.
Died on November 5, 1836 at the Cape of Good Hope, South Africa, aged 32. He was on a ship from Holland to Batavia (today's Jakarta).[1]
