Biography
Ruth was born in 1894. She was the daughter of Lewis Daniel Gumb and Mary Frances Howes. She passed away in 1982.
She married Eugene Hale Finch on Aug. 4, 1913. Their children were Annie Ethel (Finch) Oke (1913–1999), Francis Eugene Finch (1916–1997), Daphne Ruth Finch (1918–2000), Lewis Archie Finch (1919–1997), Neda Rose (Finch) Turek (1922–1999) and Charles M. Finch (1923–2014).
Ruth passed away on 10 November, 1982 in Keene, Cheshire, New Hampshire followed with burial at the Centennial Cemetery in Gilsum, Cheshire County, New Hampshire.

I am Calvin Eugene finch grandson of Francis Eugene finch son of Charles roger finch I was born July 27 1967 I now live in Missouri born in Little falls new York were my family lived for 15 years. Ruth Emma gumb finch was my great grandmother and she made the best blueberry pancakes I ever had. I'm trying to put together my full family history of the finch s and clarks together. Dorothy Clark was my grandmother and Francis finch wife.
