Bennie Mae Stanley Haston, 102, McMinnville resident and Warren County, Tennessee native Bennie Mae Stanley Haston, 102, passed from this life January 14 at River Park Hospital after a brief illness.
A teacher with Van Buren and Hamilton County schools and a member of Mt. Leo Church of Christ, she was the daughter of Benjamin L. and Lela Woodlee Stanley; and was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lynn Haston in 1969; four brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by daughter, Hope Clark of Warren County; granddaughter, Jane C. Webb of Warren County; great-granddaughter, Dara Webb; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held today at High's Chapel with Stan Stevenson and Carl Stanley officiating. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
