Biography

Hermann was born in 1815. He was the son of Jacob Samuel Heyum Stern and Theresia Wohi.

Herman's marriage to Julia Goldsmid was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1845 in the St. James Westminster district.[1]

In the 1851 census Herman (age 35), General merchant, was the son in law of Aaron Goldsmid in Cavendish Square, Marylebone, London & Middlesex, England.[2]

In the 1861 census Herman (age 45), Merchant foreign banks, was the married head of household at 67, Marina, St Leonards, Hastings, Sussex, England.[3]
