Willem Luichies Barghof was born about 22 October 1805 in Doldersum, Vledder, Drenthe, Nederland.
Willem (24) and Aaltje Roelofs Nijhuis (22) were married on 2 May 1830 in Ooststellingwerf. Aaltje was born on 2 August 1807 in Oldeberkoop, Ooststellingwerf.
Willem (32) and Martsjen Roelofs Heida (25) were married on 26 August 1838 in Ooststellingwerf. Martsjen was born on 16 June 1813 in Aengwirden, Friesland. She was the daughter of Roel (Johannes) Heida and Aukjen Fokkes Hoekstra. Their daughter was Jantje Willems Berghof (13 November 1840 – 21 June 1883).
Willem died on 2 July 1858 in Donkerbroek, Ooststellingwerf, Friesland, Nederland, aged 52.
