Biography
Georgia (Jones) Davis was born in Appalachia, in Tennessee.
Georgia Jones was born on October 10, 1921, daughter of George Edward Jones (1872–1947) and Hetty Higginbotham (1885–1973).
Georgia married Henry Clay Davis (born on February 27, 1917 in White, Shelby; son of Charles Davis and Ermitta Frances (Rittenberry) Davis).
In the 1930 census Georga (age 8) was the daughter of George E Jones in District 17, Putnam, Tennessee, United States.[1] George E Jones 57, wife Hettie Jones 45, daughter Lilian Jones 10, daughter Georga Jones 8.
Georgia died on February 18, 1986 in White, Shelby, Tennessee, United States, aged 64. She was buried in Doyle Cemetery, Doyle, Tennessee.[2][3]
