Biography

William was born 8/20/1845 in Massachusetts. His father was George Lewis Higgins and his mother was Sarah Pratt Briggs, both from Massachusetts. He lived with his parents and siblings in Duxbury, Plymouth, Massachusetts where his father was a housewright/carpenter. At some point William moved to California and married. He contracted consumption and died 1/13/1879. William is buried in the Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery (Plot Rural EHC 90).
