Biography

Cecil was born in 1870. He is the son of Edwin Fitch and Annie Fox. Cecil Edwin Fitch's birth was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1870 in the London City district.[1]

Cecil was mentioned in the obituary on 11 October 1918 in Harrow, London, England of his only son who died from wounds received at the front in France.[6]

On 1 January 1920 Cecil Edwin Fitch was appointed as a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire (KBE) for "services in connection with [wartime] recruiting".[7] [8]

Cecil Edwin Fitch, Cambridge University Alumni, died 28 September 1940.[9] Sir Cecil Edwin Fitch's obituary on 2 October 1940 in Bristol, Avon, England. He died (age 70) in Stroud.[10]Cecil's estate passed probate on 8 May 1941 in Llandudno.[11]
