Earl Paris Geer was born in 1848 in Ohio, United States, son of Jonas Geer (1821–1896) and Sarah (Holcomb) Geer (abt. 1820–1901).[1]

Research Notes
The earliest written information on his birth is that it was about 1848. His sister was born on 17 Aug 1847 and that is well documented. FindAGrave seems to be in error along with newspaper article. The census ages support an 1848 birth.
