Biography
Axel Ludvig Sedin was born in Möne parish, Älvsborg, Sweden on February 13, 1871 to soldier Josef Ceder and his wife Sofia Christina Gustafsdotter.
Axel calles himself Cedin when he lived with his parents in Trälunda Lillegård in Möne. He came from Gävle in 1892 and went back there in 1895.
His three sisters also emigrated to the US: Hanna Josefina b. 1865 went in 1883, Hilda Elisabeth b. 1868 emigrated in 1888 and Berta Ottilia b. 1874 went in 1897.
