Biography
Adah was born in 1848 in Holloway, Middlesex, England. She was the daughter of Edward Weston and Elizabeth Crowe.[1]

- 1861 census - Hornsey, Middlesex, bill draper's daughter
On 9 July 1870 at St Pancras, Middlesex, she married Rev. Dr George Reith, son of George Reith and Jane Stuart.[2] He was a Calvinist minster. They lived in Glasgow, Scotland and had 7 children:
- Rev Archibald Reith 1871–1962 Rector of West Halton, Lincolnshire
- Adah Elizabeth Reith 1873–1921 unmarried
- Robert Buchanan Reith 1875–1963 naval architect
- Edmund Ernest Reith 1876–1945
- Jean Stuart Reith 1878–1966 m. Douglas Graham 1913-1923 (anulled)
- Rev George Douglas Reith 1880–1929 Minister at Dumfries United Free Church, also missionary in India
- John Charles Walsham Reith, Lord Reith KT, GCVO, GBE, CB, TD, PC 1889–1971 - first director general of the BBC
She was widowed in 1919.
She passed away in 1935.[3]
