Dr William Penn Cooper was born 1856 in Wood County, Texas. Will was the son of Hugh Anderson Cooper of South Carolina and Malinda Amanda Looney Cooper of Tennessee.
Will married Martha Susan Armstrong of Alabama. Will and Martha were the parents of 5 documented children.
Will was 100 years old when he passed away in 1956. He was buried in the Vivian Cemetery in Vivian, Caddo Parish, Louisiana.
