Biography
Ebenezer Pearce was born about 1779 at Evesham, Worcestershire, England. He was the son of James Pearce, Deacon of Evesham Cowl Street Baptist Church who was a grocer in Evesham. As Baptists Ebenezer and his siblings would not have been baptised as infants.
Ebenezer Pearce and Sarah Lloyd married on 21 January 1801 at All Saints, Evesham, Worcestershire, England.[1] They had at least six children.
In the 1841 census, Ebner Pearce was age 60 living at Bridge Street, Evesham, Worcestershire with his wife Sarah Pearce (55), daughter Martha Pearce (15).[2]
Ebenezer Pearce died on 23 Mar 1850 age 71 in Evesham.[3][4] He was buried on 22 Oct 1856 at Evesham Baptist Chapel Cowl Street Burial Ground.[5]
