Conrad C. H. Hesse was born on October 26, 1833 in Prussia, German Empire.^[1]

Conrad, his wife Elise, and daughter Anna immigrated on August 3,1863 on the ship America from their home in Marburg, Germany.^[2] Conrad was a baker with the Matthius bakery.

Conrad died on January 17, 1894 in New Brighton, Richmond, New York, United States, aged 60.^[3]
