Conrad, his wife Elise, and daughter Anna immigrated on August 3,1863 on the ship America from their home in Marburg, Germany.[2] Conrad was a baker with the Matthius bakery.
Conrad died on January 17, 1894 in New Brighton, Richmond, New York, United States, aged 60.[3]
