Biography
Moody Morse Currier was born 2 October 1785 in Warner, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, son of Dr. John Currier and Sarah Clement. He died 17 March 1810 at Hopkinton, New Hampshire aged 26 years.
Moody Morse Currier is presumed to be the father of Moody Currier , illegitimate son of Rhoda Putney who was born 22 Apr 1806 in Boscawen, Hillsborough, New Hampshire. He is buried in the Old Hopkinton Cemetery, Hopkinton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.[1]
Moody M. Currier, married 27 Sep 1807 in Boscawen NH to Ruth/Ruthey Green.[2] She was born 29 Nov 1787 in Boscawen NH and died 7 Mar 1867 in Brookline Massachusetts. She married 2d) Moses S. Bailey. She is buried in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Possible Child (Not proven) of Moody M. Currier & Ruth Green:
- Caroline G. Currier, born abt 1808 in New Hampshire; died19 October 1874 in Rhode Island. She married 12 Feb 1832 at Lowell, Massachusetts to Alpha B. Currier. Children: Francis, Alfred and George.
