Robert was born in 1937. He was the son of Lloyd Warcup and Dorothy Towsley. He passed away in 2012.
Robert T. Warcup, 75, of Stokes Westernville Road, Ava died Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Rome Memorial Hospital. He was born July 9, 1937 the son of Lloyd T. and Dorothy M. Towsley Warcup in Rome, NY.
Bob was active in FFA and graduated from Holland Patent Central School in 1955. He graduated from Cornell University with a degree in animal husbandry in 1957. In 1978 Bob took over the family dairy farm, Delta Dawn Farm, retiring in July 2011. Bob was also a maple producer for 29 years. He was active in Lee Center United Methodist Church and Westernville United Methodist Church. Bob was a member of Cooperative Extension and FFA Alumni Association and member and past secretary of Farm Bureau. He was also active in many farm organizations. Bob was very proud of donating blood to the American Red Cross and received the 15 gallon donor pin.
Bob is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Rosemarie Warcup, Boynton Beach, FL; three nieces, Kristin and Joseph Santoroski, Frederick ,MD, Amy Warcup and Barron Naegel, Rochester, NY, Robin and Dennis Doughty, Chelmsford, MA; great nephews, Adam and Keegan Santoroski, Frederick, MD; and special friends, Wayne and Robin Davis.
