Charles Leonard Walbourn, son of Henry Walbourne & Catherine Gladwell, was born on 21 March 1861 in Launceston, Tasmania. (Note: No Given names were recorded on his birth registration) ^[1]

Charles married Louisa Augusta Weise on 19 Apr 1886 in Queensland. ^[2]

WALBOURN. — On the 18th October, at Zeehan (suddenly), Charles Leonard, eldest surviving son of H. W. Walbourn, of this city, aged 36 years. Queensland papers please copy.

He was buried at Zeehan Pioneer Cemetery, Zeehan, West Coast Council, Tasmania, Australia (plot: B - 248). ^[5]
