Biography

Panayiotis Alepoudelis was born in the village Kalamiaris of Panagiothas of Lesbas, in the Greek Archipelago, at the time part of the Ottoman Empire.[1]

His birth date is not certain but was likely 1870-1880, based on his marriage in 1897.

In 1897, he married Maria E Vrana from the village of Papados of Geras, Lesbos. They had six children.[1]

Panayiotis and his brother Thrasyboulos established soap manufacturing and olive oil production in Heraklion, Crete in 1895. He later move his soap factory to Piraeus, Greece, and moved with his family to Athens, Greece.[1]

While on summer holidays in 1925 visiting the island of Spetses, Panayeiotis died from pneumonia.[1]
