Biography

Leona was born on October 28, 1913 in Allen County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Herman Goeglein and Emma (Stellhorn) Goeglein. Leona married Walter John Stoppenhagen (1911-2010) on September 13, 1935 in Allen County, Indiana. They had 2 children together;

1. Walter Gene Stoppenhagen 1937
2. Kay Marie Stoppenhagen Schulz 1943

Leona died on August 12, 1985 at the Regency Place Nursing Home in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana at the age of 71 years. She was buried on August 15, 1985 at the Concordia Cemetery Gardens located in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana. Her husband was the informant at her death.
