Biography
Ernest Mitchie aka Mischke was born in 1891 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia [1], the son of Carl (Charles) Gottlieb Mischke and Elizabeth (Lizzie ) Twohill. His siblings were Beatrice Maude Touhill [half], Charles Henry Mischke, Elizabeth Louisa Mischke, Frederick Mischke, Henry Mischke, Sarah Christina Mischke, Paul Otto Mischke, Henry Ferdinand Mischke and Christina Dorothy Mischke.
He married Sarah Frances (Wilkinson) Hamburger, the daughter of John Wilkinson and Martha Weir and the ex-wife of Clair William Hamburger, on 8 July 1913 in St Peters, New South Wales, Australia [2].
Ernest then Doris Rachel King on 21 April 1948 in Newtown, New South Wales, Australia [3].
When aged about 80 years old, Ernest died on 16 October 1971 in Campsie, New South Wales, Australia [4].
