Biography

The daughter of Charles Lemmon and Fanny Rebecca (Camp) Lemmon, Fanny Lemmon was born in Washington Township, Connecticut^{[citation needed]} in 1819. She married David Calhoun, marrying in Washington Township on September 30, 1838^[1] and having six known children together:

1. Charles Lemmon Calhoun (1839-1897)
2. Ellen A. Calhoun (1842-1861)
3. Frances A. Calhoun (1844-1893-)
4. Mary Jane Calhoun (1848-)
5. Elizabeth Calhoun (1848-)

Fanny and her husband also adopted a daughter, Ellen Kearney (1862-). Fanny and her family made their home in Washington Township, farming.^[2][3][4][5]

Widowed in 1889, Fanny Calhoun passed away in Washington Connecticut^[6] around the age of 80 and is buried at New Preston Village Cemetery in New Preston, Connecticut.^[7]
