Research Notes

In 1851 William is an apprentice pawnbroker to John Storton his Birthplace is given as Swerford, Yorkshire. the only Swerford I can locate is in Oxfordshire., Could it be Wansford, Yorkshire.

On his marriage to Sarah no Father was listed so its possible he was illegitimate.
