Biography
Hubert was born in 1927. He was the son of Hubert Beaubien. He passed away in 1951..
Son of Hubert Wilfred Beaubien and Florence Brosseau Beaubien.
Following the death of his father, Hubert moved to Adams to live with his Aunt, Mrs. Albert Gregorio.
United States Army veteran of World War II, Hubert served with the Army Medical Corps. Following his release from active duty in the Army, he enlisted in the Massachusetts Nation Guard where he served until he re-enlisted in the Army Medical Corps in 1948.
Serving with the 65th engineer combat medical detachment, e was with the first group of American troops sent to Korea after the North Korean Reds crossed the 38th parallel.
Sgt. Beaubien was killed in action in South Korea on May 25, 1951 and was laid to rest with full military honors on December 8, 1951 in Adams, Berkshire, Massachusetts.
