Hi I'm Scott George and I'm interested in my family's (both sides) history and lineage. To date I have been able to track my family back to David George (abt. 1716 - bef. 1753) my sixth great grandfather on my father's side, his wife Janett (Davidson) Webster along with her parents John Davidson (abt. 1698 -) and Janet (Mitchell) Davidson (abt. 1703 - abt. 1783) of Edinburgh, Scotland married about 7 Nov 1724 in Hownam, Roxburghshire, Scotland.

On my mothers side Robert Bentley (d. abt. 1612) my nineth great grandfather and his wife Anne (Hackett) Bentley, married 28 May 1582 in Shepshed, Leicestershire, England.

Biography

Eldest son of Sinclair Charles George and Carol Heather (Bentley) George, loving husband to Charlotte, and proud father of two.

Scott Sinclair George Esquire [[1]] (Esq.) was educated at St Andrew's College [[2]] (1983-90) a private school founded by Rev. Alexander Thomas Thompson [[3]] in the Scottish Presbyterian tradition of the Christian faith that enrols from pre-school to secondary Year 13. It was founded in 1917 and it is the only independent, co-educational (formerly an all-boys school) primary and secondary school in New Zealand's South Island. During his time at St Andrew's he was active in the tennis, sailing, football (soccer) teams, and member of the St Andrew's College Pipe Band receiving his blazer "colours" (awarded for outstanding achievements [[4]]) touring New Zealand's North Island and Australia in active competition.

He currently resides with his wife and children in the United States.

Escutcheon: Or on a fess invested Vert between three falcons rising Azure, membered Gules, as many besants; a bordure engrailed of the fourth charged in the middle chief with a cresent of the first. Above the Shield is placed a Helm befitting his decree, with a Mantling Vert doubled Or, and on a Wreath of the Liveries is set for Crest a sunflower slipped and leaved proper, issuant from a crescent Or and in an Escrol over the same this Motto "π’πˆπ‚ π„π†πŽ π“πˆππˆ".
