Biography
Alice was born to John Herbert and Helen Herbert nee Glencross and her birth was registered[1][2]during the fourth quarter of 1875 in the district of Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom
The April 1881 census[3][4]shows Jessie residing with her family in Kintbury, Berkshire.
The April 1891 census[5]shows Jessie at Heathfield, Westridge Road, Southampton, Hampshire, England.
Jessie married Bernard Palmer and the marriage was registered[6][7][8][9]during the third quarter of 1899 in Lambeth, Surrey, England.
The April 1921 census[10]shows Jessie residing with her family in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The April 1931 census[11]shows Jessie continuing to reside with her husband Bernard Palmer in Vancouver.
Jessie, a widow,[12]passed away aged eighty seven on 8 April 1963in hospital. Jessie was laid to rest[13]after a Requiem mass at St. Anthony's Church, West Vancouver on 10 April 1963 in Plot HORNE2-02-001-0008 (2), Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver.
