My father is Peter Luxford Broadbent, his father Alwyn Reuben Broadbent, his father Reuben Broadbent, his father John Broadbent, his father Luke Broadbent. The latter two were passengers on the HMAS Buffalo, the boat that transported Governor Hindmarsh to South Australia and from thence the Proclamation of the Colony was made on 28th December.
