Johan Axel Georg was born in 1876.^[1]

Johan (age 24) married Katarina Vestberg on 28 July 1901 in Jämtland, Sweden.^[2]

Prior to his departure in 1906, Johan Axel was living with his wife and 3 children in Kullusta, Ragunda, Jämtland.^[3]

He immigrated from Sweden in August 1906.^[4][5] Note: His status was listed as single (unmarried).

Axel married Jennie Skog on 18 October 1913 in Aitkin, Minnesota, United States.^[6]

Johan Axel died on 29 June 1939 and was buried in Dentaybow Cemetery, Littlefork, Koochiching County, Minnesota, United States.^[7]
