Bertie Roy Seddon was born in 1897 in Stanley, Colony of Victoria, son of George Henry Seddon (1869–1912) and Ellen Butters (1870–1944).^[1]

Bertie (26) married Dorothy May Waddell (21) (born on 9 May 1902 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia; daughter of George Waddell and Mary Alice (Whittington) Waddell) in 1924 ^[2]. Their known son was George Seddon (23 April 1927 – 9 May 2007).

Bertie died on 30 August 1973 in Malvern, Stonnington City, Victoria, Australia, aged 75 ^[3]. He was buried in Stanley Cemetery, Stanley, Indigo Shire, Victoria.^[4]
