Biography
Mary (Morgan) Mitchell was born in Ireland.
Mary Wybrants Morgan was born in about 1849. She was the only daughter of Peter Westropp Morgan and Mary Ann Middleton.
Her mother Mary died on 5 September 1849.
Mary married George Mitchell (the only son of James D Mitchell) on 31 May 1877 at St. Stephen's Church, Upper Mount Street, Dublin[1]. Notice of their marriage appeared in the Leinster Reporter dated 7 June 1877, page 2:
- MARRIED.
- May 31, at St. Stephen's Church, Upper Mount Street, Dublin, by the Rev. A. C. Thistelton, assisted by the Rev. Thomas Good, George, only son of James D. Mitchell, Esq.. of 36 Waterloo-road, Dublin, Manager of the Ulster Bank, Dublin, to Mary Wybrants Morgan, only daughter of Peter Morgan Westropp, Esq., of Ballynolam, county Limerick.[2]
Children (if any) unknown.
Sadly Mary Wybrants Mitchell passed away on 23 September 1889 at Algiers, North Africa. Administration of her personal estate (with Will) was granted on 6 November 1895 at Dublin to Isabel H Bramble of Catherine Place, Bangor, County Down, spinster, the Residual Legatee[3][4]. Effects: £3,322 4s. 7d.
