Joyce Maxine Blank was born on 20 November 1924, in Decatur, Macon, Illinois, United States as the daughter of S. H. Dawson and Mary Michels. She married Harley Leigh Dawson on 14 April 1951. She died on 6 July 2006, in Olney, Richland, Illinois, United States, at the age of 81.

Mrs. Dawson was born on Nov 20, 1924, in Decatur, the daughter of S. H. "Joker" and Mary (Michels) Blank.
She married Harley L Dawson on April 14, 1951 in Travis County, TX. He preceded her in death on November 20, 1996.
She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney, IL.[2]
