Biography

Stanley Walter Field was born on 30 July 1890 in New Zealand, son of Thomas Chamberlain Field (1864–1921) and Elizabeth Annie Norris (1865–1926).^[1]

Stanley enlisted in the army on 7 September 1917 and was discharged at the end of his service on 17 August 1919. ^[2]

Stanley did not marry.

Stanley died on 20 January 1945 in Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand, aged 54.^{[3] [4][5][6]}
