Biography

Robert was born in 1920. He was the son of Cecil Yampolsky and Helene Boas.

In 1930 Robert was living at his grandfather Franz Boas' home at 230 Franklin Ave, Cliffside, Bergen with his parents, Cecil, 41, a Teacher, and Helene, 41 and his brother Philip, 9. Franz, was 71, widowed. Gladys Reichard, 35 was a lodger and Marie Frank, 31 a Servant were also in the home^[1][2][3].

On 8 Mar 1942 Robert married Marian Caroline Basch in Manhattan. He lived in 701 Hartley Hall, Columbia Univ., New York City^[4].

On 15 Sep 1942 Robert joined the US Army Signal Corps, as an unmarried person. He had 4 years of college, 66" in height, 130 lbs^[5].

Robert, a Bibliographer, divorced, died on 4 Dec 1987 in East Hartford, New York, age 67 Years. He lived on Whitcombe Hill, Cornwall, Conn.^[6].
