John Donnelly was born in Ireland.

John was born in 1875 in Ireland. He was the son of John Donnelly and Sarah Robinson. John, son of John Donnelly & Sarah Robinson Donnelly, was born on 19 February 1875 in Castlereagh, County Mayo, Ireland.[1][2]
Along with the rest of his family he emigrated to Canada sometime before 1901.
John (age 31), son of John Donnelly & Sarah Robinson, married (1) Isabella A Fraser (age 33) on 11 April 1906 in Lancaster, Glengarry, Ontario, Canada.[3]
Isabella died in 1941 in Winnipeg.[4]
He married (2) Gertrude Emily {Hack} McDowell sometime thereafter. She had 3 McDowell children from a previous marriage.
John, son of Donnelly, died (age 101) on 29 August 1976 in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada.[5] He was buried in Oliver, Okanagan-Similkameen, British Columbia, Canada.[6]
John's wife Gertrude Emily Donnelly died on 10 April 1979 in Oliver, British Columbia, Canada.[7]
