Mildred was born 26 Sep 1892 at Anderson Street, Portland, Maine. She ws the first child of Peter A. Whitmore, 25, Typesetter and Georgiana McBean, 23 Housewife. They were attended by Catherine Macbeane, Midwife. Information was confirmed by the testimony of Adelaide M. Green - physically present at the birth. Adelaide lived at 130 Fern Ave. Collingswood, N.J. at the time. Document was completed 25 Aug 1955 and mailed or delivered to Mildred Bull (nee Whitmore) at Squirrel Island, Maine. ^[1]

In 1900, Mildred G. Whitmore was a 9 y/o living with her mother Georgia A. Whitmore, 24, Demonstrator, widowed, her Aunt Addie M. McBean, 23, Type Writer and her grandmother and head of household Catherine McBean, 56, widowed at Bursell Street, Boston Ward 17, Suffolk, Mass. ^[2]

Mildred's father Peter passed away on 9 Sep 1891 at Portland, Cumberland, Maine. Cause of death was consumption. He was buried at the Forest City Cemetery, Cape Elizabeth, Maine^[3]
